In 2021, at the age of forty, Pittsburgh resident, Sarah Robison took a pause from her tenured career in medicine and left behind her home, family, friends and her creature comforts to hike the entirety of the 2,193 mile Appalachian Trail that stretches from Georgia to Maine along the length of our Nation's East Coast. After self-sustaining for seven months off of only what she could carry on her back, both tangible and mental, Sarah became an unconventional liver of life. This after decades spent feeling trapped and insecure. Join us as she explains how we can use our fears as our guide and how we can feel safe trusting the uncomfortable thing. Sarah says, “I was just as scared as you, I just did it anyway.”
