Amateur astronomer Larry McHenry, an active observer of our closest star, the Sun, will be here to share his knowledge with us. Included in his discussion will be an introduction to solar features visible in both white-light and H-alpha, along with observing techniques, and equipment. In addition, he’ll discuss how best to observe the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse coming up on April 8th.
